2. Open Source Model Disclosure

Umi OCR uses the PP-OCRv6 Tiny model weights released by PaddleOCR under its open source license. These model weights are loaded into your browser via ONNX Runtime Web and run entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server during OCR processing.

  • Umiocr is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PaddleOCR or PaddlePaddle.
  • The PP-OCRv6 model weights are governed by their respective open source license. Please refer to the PaddleOCR GitHub repository for license details.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring the documents and images they process do not infringe on third-party copyrights or privacy rights.

3. Permitted Use

You are granted permission to access this website for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • Use Umi OCR to process documents that infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract assets from any component of this website beyond what is permitted by the applicable open source licenses.
